So, in the wake of the revelations that Harvey Weinstein assaulted, abused, raped, groped and blackmailed women to have sex with him to advance their career I have not heard anything from the feminists. You know that group that marched after Trump was elected screeching that Trump was a misogynist (do they even know what that means?) and he abuses women. Yet there was no real evidence that Trump was what they accused him of, except for maybe that ‘grab ‘em by the p**sy’ comment. Incidentally, that comment was taken out of context, but I digress. So now we have a real case with proof of said sexual abuse and what do we hear from the ‘nasty women’ feminists? I have not heard squat, nada, zero, nothing from them. Well it was just one guy you say? What about the all the women coming forward now with their stories regarding what was done to them by other Hollywood figures and politicians . Hello feminists, where are you? Where is Ashely Judd and Madonna? Where is the vagina hat wearing brigade?
I think the lack of action or even a comment from this group speaks loud and clear about the real focus of this so called women’s rights movement. Hint: it is not about women’s rights. By the way, one of the speakers at the march was Donna Hylton, please read the piece from http://www.wnd.com
A leading black feminist and featured speaker at the Women’s March on Washington – who speaks on women’s issues and prison reform – is a convicted murderer and kidnapper who was part of a seven-person gang that abducted, tortured and killed a 62-year-old white man.
Donna Hylton was convicted of second-degree murder and two counts of first-degree kidnapping on March 12, 1986. She had been an accessory in the gruesome murder of Long Island real-estate broker Thomas Vigliarole, whose body was found locked inside a trunk in a Manhattan apartment in 1985. Vigliarole had died of asphyxiation. He was starved, beaten, raped, burned and tortured. Hylton served 27 years at New York’s Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for the crime.
As another side note, this same march also had a muslim call to prayer. Maybe it’s me, but isn’t the muslim religion/society one of the most oppressive organizations towards women?
In conclusion, I leave you with this brain exercise….imagine if Harvey Weinstein was a big time conservative and Trump supporter? It is not hard to imagine what would be going on at this point and what would be said in the MSM.
